Everyday Makeup Look // Winter 2016

Winter has me feeling drab and cold, so I have been making sure my makeup has been hydrating and nourishing for my skin. All of these products are new discoveries for me, and most are very clean cosmetics. Enjoy this makeup look and mini-reviews of these new discoveries!

Skincare:

The Gressa Purifying Oil and Illuminating Serum have been so amazing paired together under makeup! I especially love the illuminating serum for giving my face the hydrated glow I have been going for. To resist any creasing and to hydrate my undereye, the Be Natural Coq 10 Eye Cream has been truly awesome.

Face:

I have been recently introduced to the Beauty Pie beauty line, and I have to say I am impressed. This is not the cleanest of foundations, but the Beauty Pie Foundation is paraben free, fragrance-free, and vegan. As a concealer, I have been reaching for the Gressa foundation, as it has a lightweight serum texture and is too light for a foundation for me. Stay tuned for a full post on Beauty Pie, it’s a really cool brand!!

To set my face, I have been reaching for the Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Powder. The Han Cosmetics Maui Bronzer is a warm toned bronzer with extra clean ingredients. It is a bit too pigmented for me to say it is my favorite, but I love the ingredients it contains. I received it in my Bare Element Box, which is a great subscription box for clean beauty lovers! For blush, I added the matte pink shade from this Honey Bee Gardens Cosmopolitan Palette. It isn’t too pigmented like some blushes can be, but it lasts a really long time on the skin!

Eyes:

I have been into a quick, get-it-done eye look now that I am back in college. Red Apple Lipstick makes extra green and healthy eyeshadows. I took the shade Sugar and Spice all over the lid and into the crease. I added the shade Sand Castle just to the center of the lid for a light shine that is perfect for every day. Check out RAL on Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest!

Brows are the typical Anastasia Brow Wiz in Soft Brown. It’s just the best, ’nuff said. GUYS. THE BEAUTY PIE MASCARA IS AMAZING. LIKE THE BEST THING EVER. You all know I was a huge fan of Covergirl Mascara, but since I have cut out parabens from my beauty routine, I have been looking for a good alternative. While not the cleanest, the Uber Curl Drama Mascara has better ingredients than Covergirl LashBlast. AND IT’S AMAZING.

Lips:

The ultimate hydrating lipstick is YSL Rouge Volupte Shine in 47, and I am sure you know my love for this guy. It’s perfect, it’s beautiful!

What are your winter makeup staples? I would love to know!

Love,

Liv
