I have been on a mission to find my favorite face powder, and I can safely say after much trial and error I have finally found it! I have tested everything from Rimmel to Nars to It Cosmetics – and everything in between- looking for my favorite powder.
I have tried pressed and loose powders and I my personal preference are loose powders, translucent and with absolutely no flashback. I find that I go through loose powders really quickly though, so I have been looking for a product that lasts really well.

I had originally gone into Sephora looking to purchase the Laura Mercier Translucent powder that I had hard hyped up all over the beauty community. Since it was $38.00 I wasn’t looking forward to shelling out that much, so I walked around a bit and checked out some of the end displays on each aisle.
There, tucked away into the bottom corner was this gem. I had only heard of the Cinema Secrets Brush Cleanser, and had absolutely no idea the brand made makeup! So I hopped onto Sephora’s website to check out the reviews, there weren’t many but they were all positive! So, I decided to be “adventurous” and test it out.

| My Thoughts |
By now, whether from the title or general context clues, you will know I absolutely LOVE this product. I can honestly say this powder is better than both the Nars loose powder and It Cosmetics, both which are hyped up tremendously. The thing that really struck me as unique was the texture of this product. It was incredibly soft and blended away to be completely colorless. You literally cannot see it on the skin! It leaves your skin soft, a soft matte finish, and it blurs minor pores. I don’t have large pores by any means, but the ones I can see around my nose after foundation application, were completely blurred away.
Another huge part of how much I adore this powder is how small of an amount I need. I can set both of my under eyes with one teeny tiny tap into the powder, and my whole face with one tap of my powder brush.
I highly recommend this product to literally anyone, who likes to use a face powder. Anyone from the darks to the lightest skin can use this, and any skin type will benefit from this powder.
Thank you for reading this post, and let me know your thoughts!
